MINDSET

Vee admits, “I am not the best at keeping my mind still – I’m human and we have lots of thoughts that bubble up to the surface all day long! But I am a huge believer in taking a few minutes each day to be still.” It can be silent meditation, or prayer, or affirmations, or a walk in nature – whatever works best for you and your soul! But we cannot truly grow unless we work on our whole body and mindset and attitude are the biggest factor in your health!

So every morning, Vee gets up and reads an affirmation and does 4-12 minutes of guided meditation using her program, then writes for a few minutes, and squeezes in some reading before her workout (if the kids aren’t burning the house down by then….).

Having this practice has helped Vee with patience and motivation during trying times. Please let Vee know if this is an area you need some ideas for.

Vee also enjoys painting watercolors solo at night and with her kids and husband some days. “It’s a great outlet to relax if we can’t get out for a hike in nature.”
